How the brand reviews factory actuals, publishes a passport, calculates order carbon, and keeps an Australian packaging working file. This page is public product help. You can read it without signing in.

Review supplier actuals

The factory submits material, packaging and carbon figures on the shared order in the Supplier Portal. Those figures stay on the order. Accept and return apply to material actuals only. Accepting material actuals does not overwrite the style plan. Packaging and carbon submissions have no accept step.

Accept

  1. Open the normal order → Definition → Actuals.
  2. When more than one item is Supplier submitted, click Accept all submitted.
  3. Use Accept actuals for the item you have open.

Return

  1. Open an item that is Supplier submitted.
  2. Enter Note to supplier (required).
  3. Click Return actuals. The factory sees Returned and your note, then submits a correction.

Accepted items cannot be returned. Fibre mass on a submit or accept must total about 100% (99–101%).

Carbon footprint and why Publish is greyed out

Order carbon is kilograms of CO2e per unit from materials, packaging, manufacturing and freight. The order stores the factor name, value and version used at save time. Changing a factor later does not rewrite saved orders.

Publish on Style → Passport stays disabled while required fields are missing, you are offline, or you do not have permission. Hover Publish for the gap. Choosing an order in the header shows that order’s accepted carbon, origin and recycled content; it does not copy those figures onto the style plan.

Packaging weight on the carbon panel comes from packaging components. If you change packaging weight after a carbon save, calculate and save again so the footprint is not stale. Lines that used a starter factor show a Placeholder tag.

Publishing a passport does not lodge it with a regulator. Recording an EU digital product passport identifier is optional; filing with a registry stays with your team.

Packaging: APCO, ARL and PREP

Style and order packaging hold a bill of materials plus Australian market fields when the product is sold in Australia.

Add materials on Style → Packaging when the empty state says none are defined. The factory can submit packaging actuals on the order. Packaging and carbon submissions have no accept or return step.

Emission factors and the Placeholder flag

Open Site Settings → Order → Emission Factors. The drawer fields are Name, Type (Material or Freight), Factor (kg CO2e per unit) and Placeholder value.

Certificate badges: Valid, Due within 60 days (valid-until is inside 60 days of today), or Expired. Due and expired rows also appear on Reports → Compliance → Certificate Expiry.
