● For sustainability, product and compliance teams

Sustainability that lives on the style.

Fibre, carbon, certificates, packaging and a digital product passport — assembled from the same record as the tech pack and the order. Publish when the record is complete. Keep what the factory actually shipped beside the plan.

One record the industry can stand behind

Retailers, regulators and your own claims team are asking for the same facts: what it is made of, where it was made, what it emits, and how it should be repaired or recycled. StyleChain keeps those facts on the style and the order, not in a workbook that drifts from the spec.

Digital product passport

Identity, economic operators, materials, substances, supply chain, certificates, carbon, circularity and documents — on the style. Publish stays locked until the required fields are filled.

What the factory shipped

Fabric weight, mill, lot and transaction certificate are recorded as order actuals. Accepting them does not rewrite the style plan. The purchase order can carry the sustainability lines.

Packaging you can report from

Weight, Australian market and the Australian Recycling Label on each packaging component, rolled into an APCO and EPR working file with a plastic recovery rate against your target.

Standards the record can hold

These are the schemes, labels and regulations StyleChain stores on the style, the order, the packaging or the factory audit. A name on this page is a link to that organisation. It is not a certification StyleChain issues, and it is not a return StyleChain files.

Factory audits live with Compliance & Security. Fibre schemes can also be typed in when the certificate is not one of the five suggested names.

Digital product passport

The passport is the style, not a second system

Materials, origin, carbon and certificates already live on the product. The passport assembles them with the fields a buyer or a marketplace still asks for — then shows you exactly what is missing before anyone can publish.

  • ✓ GTIN, EU digital product passport identifier, and economic operators with an EORI
  • ✓ Fibre composition that has to add up, substances of concern, and tiered facilities
  • ✓ Carbon, country of origin, recycled content, care, repair, take-back and end of life
  • ✓ A QR value and the Australian Recycling Label on the same passport

Readiness

See the gaps before a buyer does

Passport Readiness lists every style and the publish fields still open. Style search can show passport status, carbon and recycled content. Certificate status collapses to Valid, Due within 60 days, or Expired — on styles and on components.

  • ✓ Draft or Published on the style grid, and exportable with the rest of search
  • ✓ Certificates due inside 60 days, before they lapse mid-season
  • ✓ REACH, CPSIA and Proposition 65 recorded as flags on the style — your record, not a legal opinion

Orders

The plan and the shipment stay distinct

A style spec is what you asked for. An order is what was cut. Actual fabric weight, mill, lot and transaction certificate sit on the order. When actuals are accepted, carbon and fibre origin can show on the style passport — the style definition itself is left alone.

  • ✓ Supplier submitted, partially accepted, or accepted — visible on order search
  • ✓ Carbon per unit and packaging weight on the order, exportable with the grid
  • ✓ Sustainability lines on the purchase order the factory receives

Packaging, carbon and the questions teams actually ask

Australian brands already report packaging. Everyone else is being asked for fibre origin and a number they can trace. Both sit next to the order they belong to.

APCO and EPR working file

Packaging Sustainability rolls up order packaging, and falls back to the style plan when an order has none. Plastic recovery rate is the figure you enter, shown against the target you are working to. StyleChain does not lodge the return.

Ask the assistant

Look up carbon, packaging weight, certificates coming due, passport gaps and Australian packaging gaps in plain English. It can also record a fabric weight, mill or packaging weight on an order — only what that person is allowed to change.

Your other systems

Integrations can read the published passport and the order’s materials, packaging, certificates and carbon. They are notified when a passport is published, when order actuals are accepted, and when packaging sustainability changes.

Why apparel teams are doing this now

The commercial pressure and the regulatory pressure landed on the same spreadsheet.

Digital product passports

European buyers and marketplaces want a textile’s identity, fibre, origin, substances and end of life in one place. The passport in StyleChain is that record, published from the style when it is complete — not a filing you send to a registry on your behalf.

Australian packaging

APCO members and brands preparing for packaging EPR need weights, the Australian Recycling Label and a recovery figure they can explain. The working file is built from the packaging already on the style and the order.

Claims you can defend

Organic, recycled, low-carbon: the certificate, the lot and the accepted actual sit on the product a customer can buy. When a certificate is due inside 60 days, search shows it before the hangtag does.

Common questions

What sustainability, product and compliance leads ask before a demo.

What does StyleChain sustainability cover?

A digital product passport on the style, order actuals for what the factory shipped, and a packaging working file for Australian APCO and EPR reporting. Audits and factory certifications stay on Compliance & Security.

Does publishing a passport file it with a regulator?

No. Publish creates a complete snapshot from your product data, including an EU digital product passport identifier when you have recorded one. Lodging that record with a registry stays with your team.

Does it lodge an APCO return?

No. Packaging Sustainability is the working file: weights, Australian market, the recycling label outcome, and a plastic recovery rate you enter against your target.

Will accepting factory figures change the style?

No. Actuals stay on the order. The style plan stays the plan. Accepted carbon and fibre origin can be shown on the passport.

Can the assistant answer sustainability questions?

Yes. Carbon, packaging weight, certificates coming due, passport gaps and Australian packaging gaps — and it can record a fabric weight, mill or packaging weight on an order. Same access as the person asking. See the AI Assistant.

Can our other systems read it?

Yes. Integrations can read the published passport and the order’s materials, packaging, certificates and carbon, and they are notified when a passport is published or order sustainability changes.
